How Is Your APS Score Calculated At TUT?

TUT also employs the APS method to determine candidates’ eligibility for various programmes,This system was developed to assist prospective students to check if they meet the minimum course entry  . The APS System is used to calculate students performances. The APS system is based on an applicant’s performance in the National Senior Certificate (NSC) or an equivalent qualification. Using a point system, the NSC results are transformed into a numerical score, which is then used to compute the applicant’s APS score.

TUT APS is calculated based on the student’s matric results, and also the scores obtained in specific subjects related to the program of interest.
