TUT Minimum Admission Requirements 2024-2025
TUT admission requirements for entry-level programmes adhere to national legislation and therefore the following are required:
- Bachelor’s degrees: at least four subjects at performance level 4.
- Diplomas: at least four subjects at performance level 3.

- Visit TUT online application form 2024 at www.tut.ac.za
- Click on the “Apply Now” tab at the top-right menu of the page
- Enter your personal information and other required details in the block provided
- Fill out the form completely and make sure you provide the correct details
- Complete the online application form and submit the application for evaluation
- Proof of payment receipt of your application fee(This is a nonrefundable compulsory fee for every applicant)
- A Certified copy of your ID document(ID document is compulsory for South African citizens – your application cannot be processed without a certified copy of your ID and Passport Number for International Applicants)
- Exam Results: Final Grade 12 results (if available). Grade 11 results (if currently doing grade 12) are very important for your application. Thus, have it on hand.
- A unique email address when applying either online or in a hard copy. Note that some of the systems do not accept emails from some of the universities. It is advisable to create and use a Gmail, or Yahoo mail address for the application

NOTE:
- A fully completed application form and recently certified (certification may not be not older than one year) copies of your original identity document and (National) Senior Certificate and/or highest academic results, as well as the administration fee, must reach TUT before the specified closing dates.
- Late applications will be considered only if there is space available in the programmes concerned. TUT can accommodate only a limited number of students per programme.
