How Do I Pay My TUT Registration Fee?

How Do I Pay My TUT Registration Fee? Before starting your studies at TUT, you must pay your registration fee. In this article, we’ll guide you through the steps on how to pay your Tshwane University of Technology registration fee.

How Do I Pay My TUT Registration Fee?

Step 1: Get Your Student’s Number

Before you can pay your registration fee, you need to have your student number. This number is assigned to you when you apply to TUT, and you can find it on the letter of acceptance that you receive from the university. If you have lost your student number, you can contact the TUT student service centre to retrieve it.

Step 2: Determine Your Registration Fee

The registration fee varies depending on your course of study and your citizenship status. Students not funded by NSFAS should please ensure that the minimum amount of R 1 500 for tuition and R 1200 for confirmed residence students, is paid into TUT’s account via EFT at least 72 hours before registration.

Step 3: Choose a Payment Method

Tshwane University of Technology offers several payment options for registration fees. Direct deposits can be made by using the preprinted slips that form part of the fee statements. Electronic funds transfers (internet transfers) for tuition, meals and residence fees can be done at any branch of ABSA Bank, Standard Bank, and the Post Office everywhere in South Africa.

Please Note: No cash will be accepted on campus for paying tuition, meals and residence fees.  Please make use of direct bank deposits, electronic bank transfers, and credit card payments.  Bank-guaranteed cheques are also still accepted. Bank account details:
